Win the new Little Women movie and Movie Companion Book (Grades 4-8)
Women’s History Month is the perfect time to celebrate and study the revered American writer Louisa May Alcott’s masterpiece Little Women, which was named by the Library of Congress as one of the “Books that Shaped America.” As a pioneer in the suffragist movement in the U.S., Alcott wrote a ground-breaking book featuring four strong young women each with their own ambitions. Read the book and then watch the film — a combination that will produce a lively discussion about women’s roles in society then and now.
Writer-Director Greta Gerwig’s film adaptation of Little Women received six Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture, and earned worldwide critical acclaim. On March 10, the film comes home on Digital, and it will be released on Blu-ray and DVD April 7. The Blu-ray, DVD and digital releases will take viewers even deeper into the beloved story of Jo, Meg, Amy and Beth with over 45 minutes of fascinating bonus features.
