Customers in Madison, WI recently asked us to create original multimedia resources with authors Virginia Euwer Wolff and Blake Nelson. Virginia Euwer Wolff is the award-winning author of the Make Lemonade Trilogy. Blake Nelson’s novel, Paranoid Park (Penguin, 2006), was made into a film by director Gus Van Sant.
It’s our great pleasure to announce these new original resources, made upon request.
In these TeachingBooks.net original Book Readings, the authors share how they came to write these books and then read brief excerpts. These original audio clips are excellent to share with students before, during, and/or after they read a book, as a way for them to “meet” authors virtually.
If there’s an author or book that is relevant to your curricula, and you would like for us to find and/or create resources, please let us know.
Hear Viriginia Euwer Wolff say her name and introduce and read from Make Lemonade (Henry Holt, 1993), True Believer (S&S, 2001), and This Full House (HarperCollins, 2009).
